HUMIDIFICATION OF WINE BARREL STORAGE ROOMS REDUCES THE LOSS OF MOISTURE FROM THE WINE THROUGH THE BARREL.

This loss requires “topping” of the barrels. The ARP wine barrel storage humidification systems are designed to keep the barrel room at 85% RH. The absorption of the water mist is quick and complete and leaves no wetting of the floors or barrels when in operation. The ARP control system can integrate with the building control system to provide seamless control of humidity in the barrel rooms.
